        Matt,
have you noticed that we have two maybe three threads going right now that might help out our S-boat problem.
The work these guys are doing with 3D printers is amazing and just might be the ticket for the 4"-50 deck gun.
I am watching these builds because they may have the answer to the small parts duplication issues.

Is this what you are talking about? A deck gun for the British S-Class?

I don't know if the British S-boat deck gun and the American S-boat deck gun are the same.
The guns used US destroyer guns converted.
They may be very close and with a little modification could do nicely.

                The scale needed is 1/48.
Overall barrel length is about 4.4".
                211.00" full size.

                    Gents,

The Brit and US 4" guns are drastically different. The MK 9 gun pictured above is US. The Brit gun's recoil cylinder is on top, above the breech block.
There are some great drawings of the US gun in the Ordnance document section of the HNSA website. Good ones of the 5"25 sub gun, too. Floating Drydock has some White Ensign 1/72 gun kits left in stock. If you need some guns, check them out. They didn't have any 5"/25s, though.

                    Have a lovely day!!
                    B^)

After a couple lazy days, the seam is filled and looks much better. Now I have to decide what to do next.

Not much done today. Was able to get the battery compartment wired up and am getting the rest of the WTC set up.

I really had a "duh" moment last night with the watertight cylinder. I had wired up the battery pack and thought I had everything connected properly, but when I turned it all on, everything but the pump worked. Thanks to Jef and Bob at OTW I realized that I was using a 6v instead of a 12v battery, and I had some loose connections.

                          duh.

Taking advantage of a warm day to blast the upper hull with some primer to find and fix any imperfections.
