Hope you can keep the prop on this rescue craft. The last one sounded like a sound effect from a Buck Roger's movie. I do wonder what planet that ducted fan prop landed on

Looking very nice, BD. In keeping with the tradition of your past such efforts, I have made a prediction or two (or three).
These predictions are safely in Mr. K's electronic vault, where they are duly timestamped for later verification. Once sea trials have been completed, all shall be revealed!

                          Tell me about it!!

Well I took another video. This one in the tub. My camera is not good in low light but you can still see how manuverable she it.
I do need a few more OZ of ballast in the stern.
Check out my sliding reverse Bat-turn at the end.
I took a photo of the battery and ballast weights. I put lead shot in two lexan tubes for the weight. BD.

I got an email from Rick Teskey woundering now that I have the tug how do I intend to push the sub.
                            Well!! Here is my idea.
I ordered some strip and block rubber from McMaster.
I am going to run two rubber strips around the sids of the hull and install a push bar on the bow. You can see in the photo the bar on the logging tug model I based my build on.
On the real tug this is used to grab and push the logs in the water.
Mine will be made from a solid piece of simi-hard rubber that I will cut the teeth in just like the one on the real tug. I am hoping the rubber teeth will grip the sub or boat being pushed. Time will tell. BD.

It's alive! It looks like it's trying to escape from the tub. Good job. I'll call you when my sub gets into trouble.
