Well actually it could have gone better.
She is going to need a lot more keel ballast to keep from rolling over.
She will sit upright if I set her in the water but will eventually list to one side or the other.
It is fixable but it is going to put a big dent in my usable waterline.
Even with the huge size of the ballast tank.
I was able to manage a semi-controlled dive last night. I just looks so darn cool in the water. BD.

Here is another video. It is running better in the video than it usually runs. You can see at the end it is starting to tip. I will get it corrected though.
The good trimming out of a sub can take some time. BD.

I wonder if Merriman has had the same issue since this problem seems to be inherent in this boat.

We were brainstorming trimming ideas and never took any. I have found, at least in my testing, that anything more than a nice slow crusing speed will cause the bow to dig in and the tail to rise.
It kind of snowplows its way through the water.
This will really be a challenge. BD.
