Hey Kevin , please look at my homepage , Brian Stark STARK`s, to see your photos I took of you boat , got a problem , posting photos . Jeff is going yo check it out for me , sorry pal . BS
It was really great to meet with you. I thoroughly enjoyed talking about the magnetic coupling system in your Thresher. Thanks much for posting the photos to your web space, I've linked them in below.
For all you thread followers, I'm sorry that I've not posted any updates in the past couple of weeks, but I've been in panic mode to get her operational enough for the Regatta. I'll try to take a few shots to detail the assembly process that I followed between the bowplane installation and rolling her out, but after the installation of the bow planes I imagine that I followed much the same procedure as would have been done with any other sub.
Kevin and Ben,
That is a cool picture! And Kevin your boat is awesome! I learned alot from your thread and hope to put it to use on my 1/96 Trident. Thank you for your very much for taking the time to post your progress for us novices.
Don
Don/Jon/John- Thanks much for the continued kind words. I must admit that there were times in the wee hours of the morning in the days before the Sub Regatta that I was beginning to wonder if it was really worth putting myself through this, but getting her in the water has absolutely eradicated those doubts.
I will be gearing up to sell a limited number of beta-kits, please PM me for more information.
Michael- It has been brought to my attention that some of my initial photos have vanished, I'll get the links repaired shortly.
Sorry it's been a while since I last dipped in here- I've been away on a much needed vaccation. Of course, knowing that I was going to be spending several days on a lake I managed to convince the better half that I should bring along my new toy. She's now seen test dives to 7' and performed some incredible high-speed submerged runs. I also managed to get her in close enough while submerged in the in the shallows to get these shots...
Even the junior XO gave it a go...
I also have a couple of underwater shots from a disposable camera that I'll get up in the next day or two... (Gotta get my scanner up and running again first.)
