I've used the Testors decal film to print my own multi-color decals. Once sealed with their "sealer" it's quite waterproofed.

The US Plunger SSN 595 was a Permit class boat.
Number 3 of 14 in class. (1 lost)
      Thresher (lost)
Permit (changed class name to Permit)

Another technique I have used on full size paddle and oar blades is to inkjet print (with pigment ink, not dye) the design on rice paper (taped to letter stock so it feeds in the printer). Cut around the design closely, and use clear epoxy or glass resin to apply it to the blade. The resin soaks through the rice paper and it goes transparent, just like glass cloth. When dry, the resin protects the image, which look like it was printed on or a decal. Nice thing is you can do very large images that way.
Greg, I have a bunch of the rice paper, can bring you some next sub run, or stop by for it.

Thanks guys for all the tips. I appreciate it.

Here is the latest episode from our studio, "The SNG Experience". It shows much of the skipjack final build and testing. But our studio does lots of other things you'll just have to fast forward through it or suffer. your choice! LOL!
