When I ordered these, I ordered for 3v power supply. So it will probably be a button battery like the CR 2025 type that I will use. Waterproofing the battery will be another adventure.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

One of my Christmas wants was Bondic LED UV Liquid Plastic. Sad, that is what I think of, but my family gets me.
      Anyways, I am loving it.
The LED company (Evan Designs - highly recommend) recommends not to use hot glue to affix the lights (and listed other things I think), so I decided to use Bondic. It is as simple as get your light in the right position, put some glue on, verify again it is the way you want it, and flash the light included on the pen. In 10 seconds it was hard and holding fast! I might be able to make a lens with this, but more than likely I will use clear styrene and bond it with this stuff. Very pleased.

That’s really cool Tom. Definitely something I’m going to look into for a couple of my boats.

This Bondic stuff is getting more uses than I thought it would.
The Type IX was getting some notches cut into the shaft for the prop's set screw to hold onto. I did something that when I put the dogbanes in, it jammed the motor. So it would not turn. In playing to see what the fix is, moving the cylinder just a smidgeon forward made all the difference in the binding issue.
I wanted to fill the old hole so that I do not accidentally use it or snag it as I slip the WTC back in. So, I used Bondic to fill the old hole. In seconds I was done and ready to drill the new hole.

          Pretty cool, I think.
Ripped up a servo gear, so need to order more. Then adjust all linkages do to moving cylinder. Then trimming.
          Getting there.
          Peace,
          tom

Can Bondic be used to repair cracks in a subdriver(polycarbonate)?

Romel, I can only say that there was no reaction when I filled that hole. As to whether it will work for your application, I just do not know.
