I use Evercoat polyester glazing putty. It's similar to Bondo. It sets up in minutes and sands very well. It adheres to fiberglass very nicely.

I've been trimming the boat out a bit. I had to ad quite a bit of lead weight to the stern to get the COG correct, and in turn a lot of foam to counteract it.

The basic building and trimming is over. Time for some paint.

Upper hull black, lower hull a close match to anti-fouling red.

I'm taking some liberty, here. On the upper hull, I've masked over the scribed areas and cut the shapes out with the scribing tool. Then I blasted it with some dark grey paint to make these areas stand out even more.

One last dip in the pool to make positive everything is square. the surface and submerged trim are where i want them. with the OTW cylinder i can hover the boat right on the edge of the sail.
