      Gwen,

Do you have a copy of the Fritz Kohl Type VIIC plans? There's a good diagram of the rivet patterns used on the boat.
I used it to good effect when designing/creating the dry transfer rivets for my 1/48th scale Type VIIC.

If you don't, please PM me with your e-mail and I'll get a copy to you.

What material are you using to bond the skin to the frames, and to smooth out the seams? Is that a polyester resin?

            It's PC-11 Marine epoxy.

I decided my boat will be the U-96. Thanks to some very talented researcher/modelers online I think I have all the data I need to do the boat accurately

Does anyone happen to have a Good image or drawing of the correct drainage hole pattern for the keel of the type VIIC just forward of the propellers? I have pretty much everything else I need but haven't been able to find this.

                      Gwen,

Isn't there a good view of those slots in one of the Kohl drawings I sent you? (I don't have them handy to check)

If not, I can get you a good photo of them.

I just went over them but don't see detail for those.

OK, after numerous hours of drilling, sawing, and filing I have a template for cutting the keel hull parts.

Jeff, does this look close to your reference material?

Oh, it's upside down as I'm sure you'll realize...
