I believe that Steve indicated in one of his videos that he will be running the stern plane linkages outside the hull for a short distance.

Looks great Steve. Trying to keep up with mine but hit a couple snags. Looking forward to seeing you on the 22nd.

You do have a servo throw adjustment on the leveller. This is covered in the instructions I emailed to you. So for the planes at least you don't need electronic throw adjustment.

Think you need a third bearing on the propshaft just astern of the cardan joint/coupling to kill the shaft vibrations.

Andy thanks. The bearing on the shape is lose but will have another bearing point. Haven't had Time as of yet our studio is busy with movie prop work not covered in the show so I have ?limited time on the boat this week until I deliver the props next week at which time I'll be going over those very instructions.

Good stuff. Radio changed out for the Laser 6 ch. SL-8 and the Nautilus is up and running.

Next week we build the test tank and star testing.

If you have a transmitter with ATV's and use it to set the throw of the hydroplane control, be aware that this will not affect the signal sent out by the pitch controller/leveller when in automatic mode.

Therefore you will still have to set the throws on the leveller itself if you are relying on electronically restricted throws.

We have been away working on a movie project but we are back again. No sub this time but there will be tomorrow. Still interesting stuff.

                                Steve,

Slope soaring has always been my favorite form of rc. Used to fly at bluff park in long beach back in the 90's. still have a couple birds ready to go.
