Nice build. Any experience using a BL wet? Did they modify the motor to make it waterproof?

        I dont think there is

I dont think there is much of a need to waterproof the motor. The leads are sealed but othere then that nothing. I believe in a brushed motor, the brushes are what generally crap out on you. With this one I just have to pull the front of give it a quick swipe and its clean again.

Been running acrylic modules for years- no problems to date.

Lexan tubing is like rocking horse droppings in the UK. I use PVC for new builds, cheap (usually free), stable and machines well.

Can't see through it though- never mind!

            Would that mini-subdriver fit

            Nuke
Would that mini-subdriver fit inside a 1/350 Oscar II or Typhoon? I know it's only a single motor set-up but a simple gear splitter can solve that.

              No idea bit I did

No idea bit I did stick it in the 1/144 type 21 and it fit. The trick is getting it all to float and still be stable.

                Hi every one,

                This 1.5'' WTC

                Hi every one,

This 1.5'' WTC is make from me, I will explain as follow:

                1. This just a project sample, so I do it by acryl tube, and I will produce it by lexan when finalize the design.

                2. The final edition will be extensible, and you can get right length for your sub

                3. The ballast tank interface piece will be knock-down, and easy to maintenance

                4. I make the brushless motor waterproof, beacuse I do some waterproof disposals to the winding, don't worry about rust and mar

So please wait for the final edition on CASWELL

                Thanks

                lin

                  Drive shaft supports are installed.

Drive shaft supports are installed. And I am near ready to make the linkages. I am going to try and make a drive shaft coupler out of a length of brass and some rubber hose. The linkages should follow after that and be very easy.
I also fitted up the radio inside the WTC and I am surprised i still ahve room for an apc.
The battery for this one will have to run in the wet because I cant think of one that would fit inside and there Isnt enough room in the back as I see it to compensate for the weight. Instead I added 48grams of weight to the front of the boat to simulate a lipo battery. I chose that number because one of my E-flite lipos batteries for my heli weigh about 45grams and i wanted some room in the numbers. In the end I was able to get this thing trimmed out submerged and surfaced. The only worry I have now is that with the limited keel weight and large size prop how stable will it be.
