    Nothing has been glued on

Nothing has been glued on the bottom hull yet. I have installed the RCABS system in the WTC, here is a photo. Dave.

      Nice Dave!

I've had little time to work on mine this week, I did get the steering linkage together but I'm waiting on a new prop before I get the stern half finished.

I might leave the motor in the wet once more just for the simple design and for now I just want it to be functional until I can get time to invest in a ballast system and build a real WTC.

      Pictures coming soon..

        Hi Dave

So looking at your design, the same WTC in the centre is the air compartment for the RCABS system and the bladders will be exposed to the outer hull?? What about the microswitch to prevent overinflation or am I way off target here...

          Dave,

          If you have any video

          Dave,

If you have any video of your subs in operation I would gladly host them on my server.

Love the idea for the Seawolf WTC. Really neat. I bet it works just great. Then of course I'll have to get one from you.

What bladder bag do you plan to use? I would imagine the Gold mine bladders would be too small. However you could hook two of them together.

            The WTC is

            Hi Guys,

The WTC is only about 50% done. It will have an overinflation system when finished. The center section and the front section supply air for the bladder which is larger than the ones in my other WTC'S. The rear section is sealed off from the rest of the WTC. Dave.

              I finished up the WTC

I finished up the WTC today. It seems to work well. I hope to test it this weekend in real H2O. Then on to the install in the hull. Fun Fun Fun! Here is a photo of the WTC taken apart into it's sub-assemblies. Dave.

The WTC has been pressure tested and everything works well. Now on to the installation! Dave.

                      Me either!

I've just had the time to work on the rear linkage and might have time to order a prop from a place in San Diego that offers brass props that are the size I need.
Once I setup the hull's latching system I'm taking pictures!

I'll worry about the WTC later this week after I get back from Ann Arbor MI.

                        Get a WTC from Dave.

Get a WTC from Dave. It's well worth it. Get a paypal account and hide it from the wife. It's the modeler's best friend!

I've had one of those for years, it's just that I'm not home when the packages are sent!

                          I would be so busted!

                            I have made great progress.

I have made great progress. The WTC is mounted in the hull, and the linkages are in and working. I have also tested the jet pump in the water with the motor power unit I have installed in the wtc . I am VERY happy with the output thrust. The motor did not seem to be straining at all, but I will do current tests to see. I am working on joining the two hull halfs now. So far so good! Here is a photo of the rear linkages. Dave.

                                I have designed a system

I have designed a system to interlock the upper and lower hulls together. I am about half way through its construction. Here is a photo of the WTC with the bladder installed. Dave.
