    Seawolf Progress - Working Impeller

    Hi All,
I just wanted to post some progress on my Seawolf project. I now have a working Impeller unit, and it works great. Lots more thrust than I would have thought. Here are a few photos. Dave.

I've been looking at mine wondering and I know that this thing has some massive space on the inside but I'm not sure how to setup the rear linkage since I'm never done a NUke boat before.. any ideas you can share?

I am posting a few more photos. It is made from copper. It took me about 6 hr to machine it up and balance it. It is supported in the rear by a rulon bearing. Next I will modify the rear surfaces. I will post my progress. Dave.

Good job Dave. It's pretty tight back there but you always manage to cram it in there.

It's seems harder to get to the linkages on the Seawolf than it is on the Kilo.

I might get started on mine this weekend, just depends how my new addition to the house goes.
I got a new Dog from a rescue Shelter, a Irish Setter mix of sort, looks the most part like a IS but the ears are not as long as a true IS..or maybe her's are just shorter than normal. she's beautiful and a attention hog!

but I need to make time for my seawolf!!!!!!!

I pulle dout my 2.25 tubing I used on my VII revell kit and it looked too small for the hull but then again I would hate to waste 5 feet of this stuff on nothing what I need to do is learn how to make endcaps to fit my WTC .
