    I will be watching.
    =================================
I like making things from simple pencil drawing ideas.
Then the evolution getting them to work.

I do have a box full of spare parts from the many design changes that happen.

But there are some ideas I just have to try even if they don't work out.

      That's it exactly.
The fun is in the trying not the running.
Running is just icing on the cake.
Most of these youngsters don't understand that.
That is what makes submarines fascinating to us.
If it were easy everybody would do it.
As a matter of fact I got the linkages to work but not well.
      Too much slop. O well!
More design changes. O boy!BDClick image for larger version

I redisigned the linkages and added braces to fix the slop.
        I got rid of 80%.
Enough to test the system at the fun run this month.
I am uploading a video now of the system working. BDClick image for larger version

              Hi Dave
I remember your build. Still working on it.
              Good.
              I always liked the Esprit.
I had my Europa when the Esprits came out.
I really wanted one bad. Never did get one.
The early cars were the best. Before they went flares, wings, and such.
              Like the Lambo's.
But enough about cars. You need to get the Lotus done. Did you mold a body.
I don't remember. Let me know if I can help you in any way. BD

ya, i have a build thread "still" going at subpirates with some updated pics.... long story short is i have worked on this project for over 10 years now... its taken so long 1 due to finances and the shit economy, and constantly getting screwed over by people who say they can help me and taking my money and parts and running which would frustrate me and make me put the project away for a year or two at a time before attempting to continue...well that happened 3 times now... the last guy took my money, took two large expensive high density foam milling blocks, mashed my die cast rare car, and never delivered the molds he promised so the project has sat the last two years...
I now have a guy in the uk doing the rest of the model work and i have been making some 3d parts to test fit and make changes before molding from these parts.. the guy 3d printing the stuff isnt an expert but is doing ok and is affordable since we are working it out in trade... i gave him an rc nexus 30 helicopter and he promised to print all my parts...problem is my misc stuff is at the size limits of his machine and the upper and lower hulls i have no idea how im doing that yet cause they are so big. since he cant print those i may have to find someone to foam mill a plug still and mold from that... problem is now i have to buy high density blocks again and i paid 80 bucks each x2........ let alone the mill time, then prep, materials, etc... will probably have to do that next tax time since most of this years refund has went into buying the last of the hardware i need like a piston tank, speed controllers, seals from subtech, and a used futaba 14mz radio on 72mhz i plan on using...I need the channels
