You people are a lot of fun—has anyone ever told you that? This thread is more fun than most of what's on TV. And I know: I've been home sick with the TV on!

Paul: fingers crossed for you on this build (and yes, I saw the first post's comment about building stock from the box!).

Can't wait for the day when your barely controllable FS-1 is in the same pond with my rarely controllable Seaview. Here's to trading some paint, ol' buddy!

I agree with Jeffp about this being a fun thread.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Well good. That's what it's all about ain't it, guys?

JeffP you are cracking me up. I can see it now: swapping yellow for gray.
        Warm regards,

I was thinking back to one year I had my FS1 at the Carmel regatta.
EK our resident camera man was standing in the reflecting pool getting some underwater shots.
He foolishly had me drive my FS1 through his legs for some video.
His voice did not change so I must have done good. BD

Touché on the bleeding primer comment. And BD, I'll thank you NOT to drive any boats between my legs anytime soon... Also, BD: enjoyed Supercar (among others) on DVD while home sick last week. Mitch sends his best. ("Oo-oo-oooo!")

                      That Mitch.
                      Always monkeying around!
Supercar would be my ultimate SiFi RC build.
                      Hey Steve Neill.
Sculpt me a Supercar plug and I will make you a hull.

Whatever happened to Rick's version? He had two sizes in the works at one point, didn't he?

                          Just one.
I think it was 3' long and he was sorry he chose it that size.
That's too big. So he stopped work.
At least the last time I asked him. BD

In order to run the two pumps, I plan on using these two ESCs: Viper Marine 10's by Mtroniks. I've used them individually in other boats and had good results. They are rated up to 10amps and take 12volts per the pumps. They're not nuclear plants with multicolored light windows but they'll get the job done.

Anyone got a lead on a good mixer I could use? I'd like to run the boat on my trusty old Airtronics radio which doesn't have internal mixing capability to my knowledge.

Sounds like a good choice, Paul. I've got a pair of them sitting in my misc. electronics box....looks like a good way to use them.

For mixing the two, I'll likely use the programmable mixer in my Multiple Evo.

                                Actually it requires two mixers.
The two motor ESC's and the two servos.
I will draw up a skematic.
BTW Jeff the EVO has the two built in but it is kind of advanced programming.
It took me a long time to figure it out. But that's me.
Iii ammmm kindddd offff sloooooowwww. Lol
