You will able to purchase the soon to be launched SSN-571 through Rouge Subworks with fall. The cold weather has the prototype molding help up right now, but she is ready to pull a mold off for fitting of internals. While Kevin is busy fitting his fantastic new ballast system to 571 early this spring, I will be fitting the photo etched decking and all of the tons of other little details in preparation for the final production tooling.
Ok, Guys....I know some of you are impatient and chomping at the bit to get going with this kit. The intermediate patterns are all done and are waiting for the first stretch of warm weather so I can mold this boat up and get scribing. In the mean time, Kevin Price will be recieving the first prototype in a few weeks to complete the design of his MCS system for the SSN 571. His boat will be in the water in a matter of weeks for testing and proofing...
The project began in October of 2009 and should be ready for market this fall. Two years from start to finish....I'm happy with that!
...and for those who arent happy with the delivery time....
Great news. There are a number of us who want a -571 boat and willing to wait for it to be done right. Don't let the persistent complainers distract you.

p.s. Best guess as to when I'll get the upper casing so that I can do the CAD for the PE deck?
