sure is a nice way to produce a new hull in a hurry.
is the result smooth enough or do you need a bit of sanding still ?

Yes very slightly
There is a final pass that only takes off thousands of an inch and gets it very close

Had to step away from this for a few days for family business but I am back home now and have lots of pics to share!

Here is a shot of the propeller support fins as they came out. The plan is to cast these parts as part of the hull and as one piece with the bearings in place so that the end user wont have to knock their brains in trying to get everything lined up proper.

There have been a requests to have the kit supplied with the polar ice sail so one is getting put together. In the end you will just request which sail you want with the kit or both.

Now the polar sail is complete and this conclude all of the cnc work with this boat. Pics of the props will be up soon.

There has been some questions as to the actual size of the boat due to the large size of the CNC. Here is a pics next to a ruler and a shot of both sails.

Here is a shot of the propeller support fin with prop mounted on a 1/8" Stainless shaft. Everything fit first time with zero modifications.

Looking good. I predict this will be a hit with all the first generation nuc boat fans, including myself. Looks like I'll just have to get one of these.
