LUNCH AND LEARN:

In addition to Bruce and Don O’s short presentation on the
Moebius SKIPJACK Submarine, Chris Rueby will also be
presenting his Sub the “Tin Tin”. This sub is a modified version
of the 1/72 scale Moebius Kit.

Bob Gesking will also be presenting a 1/72nd scale
SKIPJACK (SSN 585). This Sub was built almost 24 years ago
using a Scale Shipyard fiberglass hull and a D&E Miniatures
(Merriman) WTC.

These presentations will show different methods of construction
for the 1/72 Moebius SKIPJACK kit as well as a Fiberglass Hull
version of the SKIPJACK. This is also a great demonstration of
the different ballast systems and ways to implement them in
R/C Submarines.

REGISTRATION: Cost Per Submariner participants is $15.
(One time registration is good for both days of the Fun Run)

This Fee includes ID BADGE, Sub Model running privileges,
Torpedo Plaque, and under the tent table space.

ALL Model Submariners MUST be registered to participate at the event.

On Site registration will also be available.

PRE-Registering: Please indicate your TX Frequencies
so we might take care of any Radio Conflicts.

If you have any preferences for your name and or SubRon
for your ID Badge, please indicate this when you pre-register.

2023 CARMEL SUB FUN RUN T-SHIRT:
These shirts are high quality pre-shrunk 100% cotton.




This year the T-Shirt is Natural with the
Subs in Garnet Red.

COST:
$17 for sizes M-XL
$22 for 2XL
$24 for 3XL

ALL T-SHIRT Orders must be received on or before
July 25th, 2023.

NOTE: It is preferred that all T-SHIRT orders must be picked up
at the event.

I completed the registration. I did get a verification from paypal of my payment for registration and the t-shirt. However I didn’t receive any verification from the subcommitte that I was registered or had payed for the t-shirt. I guess I’ll bring a copy of the paypal email with me incase there are any questions when I arrive.

Just made my reservation for the Hilton Garden... last year i stayed just south of there at the Hilton Homewood suites... those rooms have full kitchens in them with full size fridges and stoves and sinks and microwaves.... really wanted to stay there again but
1) no other sub captains were there but me lol, and
2) They allow pets so the hallways werent exactly fresh smelling but the room was absolute top notch and clean and had a nice big desk to work on my sub last year... The lady that made the reservation for me said that garden hilton is not a suites so ehh i guess this year ill rough it and hang with the other salty captains.

Hi. I would like to pre-register my boat, the SSNR Seaview which is being built by Ken Lane and is owned by me. I would like to get a registration packet for both of us which I believe will be $30. It has a 2.4 transmitter and is 94'' long. Can you please advise me how to do this or is it better to wait till we arrive on Friday? Thank you.
