July 25, 2023 - Last day to order the 2023 Carmel
R/C Sub Run “KNOW YOUR SUBS” T SHIRT.

August 7, 2023 Last Day to submit your entry for the
“KNOW YOUR SUB” CONTEST.

August 8, 2023 Answers to the “KNOW YOUR SUB”
CONTEST to be posted.

August 12, 2023 Winner of the “KNOW YOUR SUB”
CONTEST announced at the pond.

To find info on how to enter the “KNOW YOUR SUB” contest see
page 1 of this thread.

Please remember to bring something for the Raffle as this helps pay
for the Tent, Table and Chairs.

A special thanks to Loyalhanna Dockyard as they will be supplying
us with the PIZZA for Saturday’s “LUNCH AND LEARN”.

Anyone coming to this years regatta and is traveling from the Houston TX. area. Would you like to have some or all of your travel expense covered by taking a model boat item back to the Houston area? It is a large hull, unbuilt. Contact Dave Hampton dhampton@ameritech.net. Bob Martin is not attending the event this year, we have already contacted him.

We are pleased to announce that there is a WINNER! This Sub Captain
will be presented with the prize for correctly identifying all the subs on this year’s
Carmel Sub Fun Run T shirt. This will happen after the Captain’s meeting
on Saturday morning August 12.

We would like to thank Pete Piekarski for the Carmel “KNOW YOUR SUBS”
