I was wondering how many would notice.
It just happened to be on the radio.
Here is the LED mount.
Just a section of sheet fiberglass with the LED strips stuck to it.
I got creative and it is mounted by sliding two U shaped cut outs on the top of the sheet under the red and black charge plugs. BD.

Well I am working on another mod.
I don't know if anyone has done this but I was thinking adding helicopter landing skids would look cool and be practical too.
It would make the sub look more like an ROV if you like that look.
It should also be better for pool liners than the rubber feet.
I remembered I had an old landing gear from one of my big gas powered heli's hanging on the garage wall.
I bet for at least 25 years. It got bent up in a rather hard landing.
I was able to get it rebent close and cleaned up, and am trying to mount it now.
I had to take a photo showing how it will look.
I really like it. Well, back to work. BD.

Here is the first video showing the brushless in the Neptune.
If you have ever run a Neptune you can apreaciate how much thrust it takes to make the sub move like this.
It puts a serious dent in the run time though.
Mr Pita (Greg) and I are going to enroll in too much power anonymous.

Yikes.....That looked like if it was a straightaway run, that sub would begin to hydroplane!
This is using the Raboesh prop and your brushless motor? No fuse burned up? No glowing wires?
That is incredible.....Hats off to you!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
The motor did not pop the 20A fuse but it did trip the overheat protection of the ESC.
Looks like in this ESC I need to at least have water in the cooling system for heat transfir even though it is not flowing.
I will just run the ballast system water through the ESC.
Easy to do.
The prop is actually a fan type pumpjet prop I had in my parts box.
Here is a short video of the prop cavitateing a rooster tail. http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=em-u ... Rfn1sDTubc
