          I have made a few

I have made a few easy changes to fix the problems.
I found the robot arm seals were leaking at the larger side as I only tried tie wraps to seal them.
The addition of some RTV has fixed that problem.
I also decided to try the original seal that came on the jar which is a kind of waxed thick paper seal.
I figured it worked for the mayo so why not the water.
Testing in the laundry tub has proven successful. Which goes to show you never try and over think a design.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!
I also added the extra led required so this time testing should be better.
Now Don needs to open the test tank, I mean pool!!! BD.

              Re the comment on the

Re the comment on the video about bow planes. Why not just add some fixed bow planes, dialled in a with a bit of down angle, like the Germans did with the little coastal WWI UB1 boat.

A leveller would keep the rear in check, and you can control the depth using the throttle.

                My real problem was not

My real problem was not enough weight. I had added quite a bit more but it still was not enough. Once I get the weight in so it will dive I should be OK. I had zero leaks this time using the stock mayo jar seal.

                    That is quite the antenna!!
I guess that way you always know where the sub is as long as the water is not deeper than the antenna. BD.

                      Might be wrong but I

Might be wrong but I think the antenna is also the snorkel. It's a great scratchbuilt sub made of PET bottles. Even has a camera in the bow. Had a chance to talk with the builder and he has sent me some great pics of the sub. I'll ask permission first before I'll post them here.

Here are pics of the bottle sub

                          The builder Simo says;
"E.S. Bottle can dive to depth of one meter. Dive depth is unfortunately limited by snorkle wich equalizes pressure in watertank while water is pumped in. I could get rid of the snorkle if I would replace waterpump with an air compressor which would store watertanks air inside E.S. Bottle. But snorkle tells where submarine is while it´s under water wich is pretty important thing in these Finnish waters.

I have to admit that my submarine has few small leaks but they are so small that they don´t harm E.S. Bottles equipments wich all are not touching submarines floor where water is collecting.

You´re right about that nose is connected to main hull with screws. They are taken from big sport drinking bottle. Screws are easy to open and they keep water outside."
