    BD,

    Only one word for you

    BD,

Only one word for you and your fellow Seaview innards developers: amazing! Innovative geniuses all, in my book. Hope to someday follow down the path you're blazing because, yes, there's a Moebius Seaview box now on my shelf too. First comes though, ahem, a BD-version Gato build, but before that two major long-term builds already in progress.

Really eager to get close looks at the Seaviews in Carmel this year. . .

    BZ, BD!

    Best,
    Jeff Porteous

      Thanks Jeff. http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/icon_redface.gif http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/icon_lol.gif

      Thanks Jeff.
I am happy with my progress so far. BD.

BTW- That is a scratch built low pressure vent valve. It is built into the end cap and vents out through the top of the cap.

          Just wanted to

          Hi All,
Just wanted to let everyone know I have not abandoned the Seaview project. Most of what I have been doing is design work and no construction. BD.

              One thing I have been

One thing I have been working on is how to fit everything inside and make it work. Well I did it.
              I was able to fit 5LBS of SH-T in a 4LB bag.
Everything including the wiring is in and connected. It took many attempts and it is tight, but as the old commercial use to say "Its in there".
Here is a photo of everything connected up. Only the ballast section lexan tube and the bladder are not connected. BD.

                          Have you considered placing that

Have you considered placing that bag in a little tube of it's own, with some holes drilled around the circumference to allow it to vent. Just thinking that the bag may cause some trim problems if it's allowed to bob around unchecked inside a large tank like that.

                            But

                            Good point Andy.
But my idea was to loosly attach the bladder to the brass connecting tube with rubber bands after I find the CG point for the bladder. It is just setting in there now for testing. BD.
