      This pond is huge and

This pond is huge and is in a very nice park here in Ocala .The banks are high on one side but total access and great shaded walkways and fasilities just a bit merqy now but later it does clear up a bit.The nice thing about this pond is the high banks that give you a great prospective of your sub.
There is a good place to lanch subs as well, some day we should check it out

Splendid! Looks like a sports car of the sea.

The sunset pic almost passes for real.. crop out the grassy bank and you could be looking at the real Mc Coy.

          Mast vedeo

          The mast rises about

          Mast vedeo

The mast rises about 7.5 inches ,and the lead falling off the sail was caused by the attack mast coming up.

Note the ruubber bands arond the sub ,they later hold the foam /lead pieces in place to ballance the sub.Works great!!

              In the past few days

In the past few days I have added a auxillary 12 volt 3 amp hour battery located in the rear oft he ballast tank ahead of where the lead ballast used to be ,I needed to operate the solinoids on a seperate power supply becuase the switching was knawking the ESC off line somhow I could not find a cure it was intermittent and sometimes I had to reset the radio as well ,not fun.

So I cut open the belley of the sub at the right place for this battery to fit into at an angel due to the airbanks just above it and by a millimiters it fit! So now by remote control on the 9th chanel the auxillary battery can be engaged to run the main drive and the rest of the sub for a chort time just to get her back to port and to run the solinoids on a seperate powersorce ,sure beats the 3 lbs of lead that where in its place. Also a more powerfull pump was aded for the 3 main masts.

A special relay switches the batteries from main to aux or back again, and the same servo with microswitches oprates the nave lights.
The bat waighs the same by just luck I had the right size and if needed adjustments to ballance can be made.Always be sure that the battery is not too big to be counterballanced.
