Here is the linkage for the stern planes. I also used a set screw on the underside of the planes to keep them in place on the shaft. It also keeps the planes from rotating on the shaft.

Sorry. It was to hard and too much time in between making and installing each control linkage that I didn’t get photos all along the way, so here are some images of the final set up.

I want to try setting up the outer planes more like airplane ailerons as opposed to working to aid the stern planes because I have a lot of trouble getting my previous version of this Seawolf model to turn a halfway decent radius. My old model literally had a 15’ turning radius. So I’m wanting to see if having the outer planes rotate the hill when turning will help the radius be smaller. So this is hooked up so the outer planes move in connection with the rudder instead of the stern planes. As the rudder moves one way, the planes rotate in opposite directions to roll the boat into the turn. When the rudder goes the other way, so do the outer planes.

This is the set up. The first image shows me holding the control tod for the stern planes.

This photo shows the linkage for the rudder turning one way. And the the other. Notice the outer planes moving in opposite directions.

These last two photos just show you a closer look at the set up.
