    Those details (love the torpedo doors) really will make that sub stand out. Amazing.
    If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

          On the advice of a more knowledgeable modeler, and after consulting with a museum worker in Hamburg, I found out that the lower part of the boat's hull, which I painted green, was not correct. in fact, the lower part of the boat's hull was dark gray. So I had to repaint the boat.

              The boat is being manufactured as a tabletop model and launch on water is excluded, but it will be finished by the end of October.

                    Finally, the latest datals were made for my model U-151- These are 4 deck hatches for the crew and a hatch in the bow of the hull (I think for servicing the anchor device)Click image for larger version
