Germans really do engineering don't they. This is my favorite Russian boat. What a gorgeous build.

Nope, I didn't separate the two sections during this step. But I was well trained with the 212, joining the aft to the techrack was a real pain. Here is how I did, I first connected the motor wires to the ESC and gently join the two parts together. Be sure to install the wires so they do not touch the rotating motor.Originally posted by Oldus Fartus View PostThe instructions suggest separating the center section from the piston tank to join the aft section to the now completed TechRack.
Did anyone split the TechRack again at this point?

Antenna was installed. Post #43.

I did remove the mid section per instructions but I also noticed that plugging in the motor was not going to be easy once it was installed in the tail cone.
I connected the motor wires before mounting it in the tail cone.

I am ready to ballast.Originally posted by Antoine View PostI put 3M double sided tape (very thin) to secure them for the balancing but will epoxy them to protect the rack and limit the lead corrosion.
Could you be more specific about the type of 3M tape?
Part number or description?
Thanks

Antoine is using some "very thin" 3M double-sided tape and I was wondering what it was?Originally posted by Ralph --- SSBN 598 View Post

Personal opinion.
The thicker tape allows me to get screwdrive under it to pop it up if I need to.
And I have not seen thinner tape at the hardware store.
