Ok...hopefully here's some pics. About half the time the little red x shows. Now this is no way scale. I did get a set of plans out and the sub was not even close to scale, so I just used the looks about right scale. The sail had to be a little smaller to clear the thruster. A tank off of a fw190 was used to match it a little closer. The prop was made to the same size as the stock prop. This is my first try at a prop, so the thing might not work at all. There is still some work to do on the prop before trying to cast one in resin.
Hi I've been watching you guys chat and I figured this is probebly not a bad sub so I looked at the walmart page but I couldn't find what you guys were talking about. Could you direct my to the site via instructions or a hyperlink. I would appreciate it.
I have. Making the WTC and ballast tank-pump now. haven't posted much lately because of my wifes fight with cancer but it's quieted down some and I've started back on it.
Take a look at my thread to see what I came up with for the pump. Works just great too. i'll post some more pictures tomorrow.
Hey whoever did a mod could you send me a rough list of the things you did and how you did it if its not to much trouble because i'm intrested in how you got tit to look like that. My e-mail address is Zephir576@hotmail.com or you can e-mail me at gmy11@scasd.org either way i'll get it.
The subs are only at the larger Wal-Mart supercenters. They were running around $20.00 US.
Here is a link to another forum that has all the mods for these little subs. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum....m
It is 13 pages long right now, so there is a lot of info to read.
Or do a search on EBay for USS Dallas, USS Chicago, or R/C submarine. There are some for sale that includes a cd with the mods listed. They start the bidding at $29.00 + 8.00 s/h.
If your talking about the Akula looking sub, I made those parts myself and still working on them.
No iwas talking about the general mods to these subs but that akula is very cool. I personally want an akula but they cost a lot and it would take time to get the money because I ain't exactly got money to blow off on things that exspensive.
Well it appears I ahve another upgrade for the Wallyword subs, in my search for a prop for the Seawolf and I ordered the small fan
props, I used one on my Kilo...and my WallyWorld Sub and I tested this out in the pond last night! I was totally suprised by the performance, it's better now than before.. I will be testing more
and maybe some pictures coming up.
Ok I will make sure some pictures will be coming..and yes I have one mounted in my Seawolf as well..
