    After much priming, filling, and many hours of glorious wet sanding....



    A few more hours of wet sanding and PIKE will be ready for pulling the intermediate mold off the upper and lower half. The intermediate hull pulled from the mold will be fully detailed with panel lines, welds, thousands of rivets, and lots of lap joint plates at the riveted pressure hull and saddle tank joints....

      beautiful work on that hull, Matt. the finish on that master looks so smooth. I hope you post the photos of your progress as you add all the detail you're talking about.

        Thanks a lot, Sam! Its getting there. I will be glad to post the progress as it continues.

        Here are the bow plane guards along with the attack scope & search scopes which were printed out using a high resolution resin printer. All of these components will be molded in RTV rubber then recast in white metal.
