    George, two things to check.
    Check your browser SAVED passwords.
You may have a Sub Committe password in there.
Then check the cookies in your browser.
This is a little more difficult because there may not be a cookie specifically for SC.
It may be joined with some other cookie.
It may be piggy backed with other site cookies.

I Delete cookies several times a day because they slow down my connection to the net.
When I do this, I usually have to log back in to the sites I normal frequent.
I delete news cookies, amozon, e-bey, other store cookies.
Then I find I have to log back in to the sub sites.

The sub sites remember me but I have to type the first letter on my sign in name.
Then a drop dow menu shows up where I can click on my login name.
Followed by clicking on the password box which again has a drop down menu.

I don't know when the cookies started piggy backing but I don't like it at all.

You need to go to the Sub Commitee main page.
Click on the sub logo at top of page.

Then look for the Newsletter and click on the link.
That should get you to the download page.

          Hello
Thanks for your reply BUT I have to admit, your talking to a guy who has Windows 10 and JUST uses the basic on line feature in cave man mode. No idea how to go through what you replied above to do. Sorry.

            Ralph_SSBN598,
Thank you, that got me to the index. Is there a way to download a particular issue or article?
            Thanks,
            Mickm

              Windows.

At the top of the browers page is a row of commands.
              Try . . .
              "Tools"
              "Options"
              "Privacy & Security"
Scroll down to = Cookies & Site Data Click on "Manage Data"
This should bring up a list of Cookies on your computer.
If you ahve never cleaned them up, you may have a lot on your list.
These are sites your have visited that keep tabs on your activities and send back information to the cookie owner.
Look through the list and your will see some that your recognise and some your don't.
Some hold passwords you have used and some just track your movement on that web site.
The more cookies you have the slower your computer gets as all these cookies are contacting home.

I can slectively delete cookies because I know which ones I use like SubCommitee or other forums I frequesnt.
I delete those I visits like Lowes Hardware, Home Depot, Named museum and such.
I know I don't need them tracking me and other sites I visit once or twice to get information and I am done with them.
I don't need Amozon or E-bey tracking me after I use thier sites and I might have made a purchase.
After that I don't need them tracking my visits.
Cookies are how you end up getting unsolicited ads and messages.

If you find you have a lot of unknown cookies and you know all your site passwords, (I keep a list off computer for logging back in), you can delete them all and start over to see what cookies you need and which ones can be deleted.

All this sounds complicated but I can assure you, it take about 2 minutes for me to go through cookies and delete the ones I think are unneeded.

Also a google search on how to delete unwanted cookies will bring up a step by step to remove them.

Mickm, you might look through the SubCommitee Report thread.
I believe all the back issues can be downloaded from there. (120 issues +-)

                    Hi guys,
Also just an idle fyi: past SCR issue #50 has a 404 error when trying to open. Several around that issue number also 404'ing. (Sounds like some kind of swear)

Its a capitalization problem. Link says 'scr-50.pdf', needs to be 'SCR-50.pdf', then it works.
