Thought I would make this thread active again.

There are only 5 days until this happened.
I hope I'm not the only one there, especially after the sinking of my GW during re-trimming trials 3 days ago.
After letting it all dry out, today I did a little testing.
Everything came back to life. I'm going to let it dry some more and resume trimming on Wednesday.
Just need to add a little foam and move it around until everything is level again.

Guys,

This Saturday, April 12, is our planned r/c sub Fun Run in Yorba Regional Park. I've found that the covered picnic tables closest to our planned running area have all been reserved by other park revelers, so though we MAY get some early morning use out of them before their renters arrive, DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR OWN FOLDING TABLES to display and prep your boats.

I'm sorry to say the mission has been scrubbed for Mary and I. We had a friend pass away from a heart attack two days ago and the funeral was today in LA. So we have been on the road for 4 hours do to a traffic accident we were stuck in on the 101. It was a parking lot. It's now almost 8:30 pm. We just got home. We would still have to go to our studio, pack up and get up at 5 am tomorrow to get there before 9:30 even.

I had hoped we would have been home in the late afternoon but it just didn't work out. I'm am super disappointed. I wish i lived closer to you guys but it's a 4 hour drive both ways for us and we are exhausted.

We plan to go to Hansen Dam during the week coming up to run the OTW R-10 to get video for Bob. It's the closest lake to us for boating and subs. There is nothing up here where we live.

We will try this again one day when you guys plan another subrun.

So sorry about your circumstances, Steve. We missed you much, though we still enjoyed a good turnout. Not to worry, we'll have another gathering there—the venue was wonderful—and I know it'll happen again soon.
