    I've been watching Tom over the past several months as he has put the course together and built the individual components. I think it makes for one of the most enjoyable and challenging we've seen in many years! Well done, Tom!

        Just a few days left and off to the regatta. Look forward to meeting new people and the adventures we will experience.
        I am not sure of the room situation, but it is not too late to show up!
        If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

                    I've received two videos and some photos. It's a beautiful day there. Good attendance and a fantastic display area. The only bummer of the day is that Tom Chalfant's new Type xxiii was lost with all hands. The diver is still looking for it, but so far no luck.

                                The diver was unable to find it. I guess it was a pump type ballast system. So sad. It was a beautiful boat.

                                    It can still turn up.
                                    I have found they rarely end up being found where last sighted.
                                    I had a Seawolf sink at Lake Redman and it had drifted at least 50' before sticking in the muddy bottom.
                                    But more event info would be nice.

                                                    I believe he uses a 2.5 subdriver equiped with a SAS.
