    I have been looking for shafts for a 32p gato i just purchased and i cannot seem to find a vendor that carries a 36" - 3/16" shaft with a threaded end. any help is appreciated . neil

      rokket, checked it out and nothing nearly long enough. also they only list metric ! appreciate the help though, neil

        I recommend that you get

        I recommend that you get a 36" brass or SS 3/16" rod and just use a die to thread the end. Home Depot and/or Lowes will probably have what you need (in brass, probably not in SS).

          threading a shaft would not be the problem but i'm worried that when i clamp the rod to thread it may leave marks on shaft but maybe i'll try anyway, thanks neil
          p.s. i thought i could eliminate one more step to save time!

            McMaster Carr has 36" lengths of stainless rod in several types. They'll take credit cards as well.
