    Folks,

    This is a perfect companion

    Folks,

This is a perfect companion to all those D&E Skipjacks out there. Steve started with a Skipjack hull and essentially followed the same path that the U.S. Navy and EB did to create the prototype George Washington.....

And of course, it uses the same dive module as is used in the Skipjack.

      Jeff,

      Thanks a bunch. But this

      Jeff,

Thanks a bunch. But this is the 1/144. Not my 1/96 that was indeed done that way. The vacuum formers I took it too destroyed the molds thus no more 1/96.

This one is all GW from scratch with Merriman's help in reference and BigDave who make the custom water tight cylinder for it.

It's about 31.5 inches long. Static diver too.

      Thanks again Jeff,

      steve

Now the WTC, comes from Big Dave? And is it the same cylinder he sells for the TYPE VII Revell?

          Steve,

Nice model, I have been following your building thread. I want to buy one but not go thru paypal. I tried to make a $70.00 purchase using the charge card on file with paypal but they want a bank account verification for even that amount. That is way too risky just for the convienience. I can send you a cashiers or personal check. Please PM me back with payment instructions.

            I can probably

            Hi Brian,
I can probably answer your question. The cylinder for the GW is different than the VIIc cylinder. The differences can be seen on my web site. The GW is a shorter but wider sub. BD.

                Thanks a bunch guys. Brian

Thanks a bunch guys. Brian yours is in the making. NP.

                Bob,

I have had paypal for years now. No difference between them or any other form of online banking. Some people have fallen for the scams online but no more no less than other banks. The banks will always address you by your real name. The scam artists have no way of knowing your name and use Dear Paypal member. Despite this people never read paypal warning about the scam that. And you will never get a dear paypal member email from them.

I have never had a problem and it keeps my hobby money safe from the wife. They even give you a paypal master charge you can us anywhere and you can't spend what you don't have.

But no matter how ever you choose to pay is fine.

Bob send me an email and I'll give you the address]sneill@socal.rr.com[/email]

And thanks so much for your interest in this little boat!

                  I really like the PayPal

I really like the PayPal thing, it was easy to set up.

To get verified is no big deal, you send them your Account #, and they make two disposits in your Account, then you email them the deposit amounts and WALA, you are verified!

It is all secure and no one get's hurt. More and more Hobby guy's use, and take PayPal now! I just about do all my transactions with it!

And Thanks Steve!!!! And Big Dave!!!!
