    Nice video!!
    The sub runs great .
Even in the small pool she turns well, and it looks like I got the air reserve right as the waterline looks good. Excellent job my friend. BD.

            Trev,

            I'll find out for you

            Trev,

I'll find out for you Monday. As I recall it's not much more or the same as in the US.

And yes I can do that. See no reason why not.

            Thanks very much Trev!

Ran her today again with the new seals. 8 ft depth on the bottom and not a single leak!!!!!

Now what would that be in scale depth? She's 1/144 at 8 ft depth. You guys figure it out.

Coming back up from that depth and on the surface she sits perfect at the water line. I could see this better in the daylight although it was getting late.

I ran her for an hour on the Li-poly 8c 2s 1250 pack and she still has lots of juice. BTW these Common Sense lipo's cost 15 bucks. With geared Wattage park flyer motor I'm pulling low amps and scale speeds at less than quarter throttle. Flank bell is insane. Way too fast. But power to spare is never a bad idea.

David's prop is very efficient. Perfect. Underwater her turns are very sharp. BD will like that. She hovers nice. Pitch takes some getting use to without an APC. I will most likely get one for her. But I was able to hold periscope depth at constant speed and use the trim tab to set trim she would hold nice. Dive planes are very effective as are the rudders.

I needed another day with the boat to give such a report as is it is with a maiden flight on one of my new jets. On the first flight I remember little, only that I got it down in one piece. Next flight I take a step back and notice the flight.

So I give this boat and A+. A lot this is due to BD's excellent designed Cylinder kit. Merriman;s excellent prop and no small deal to make this tiny bugger. Volume is exact. Bing bang boom on the money. So this boat is ready to go for anyone wanting to take on for a ride.

I'll do another video at the lake next week. This time you can see more of what I've been talking about in real water.

I wish my dad could see this. I will dedicate the next video to him. He died when I was thirteen on the way to Mare Island to work on her. It was his favorite boat.

when it come's to scratchbuilding subs- You're the man Steve!
Seeing the 1/144 line up was awesome. 1 SSBN with accompanying nuc fast-attack and a russian SSK. It would be great to see them on patrol.

No I haven't yet. I've been getting all this first round of hulls ready. Lot of work. I will call tomorrow though and find out.

Jeff. Best thing to do is check out the build thread on the BB over at my site.

I'll start posting the same threads over here soon as this forum is much better now to copy paste and load images.

Here's the link to the BB Jeff:
