I asked simply, where is Charles Anderson. I would like to have my sub back. I would think that would be understandable to anyone here. The fact that he failed to meet his obligations under our contract, is a legal issue. However, the fact that he has vanished without any forwarding address should concern anyone who has contracts with him. If this seems like speculation, let me assure you it is not. The fact that our organization continues to list him on this site as a vendor, also is a concern. I am not the only person who has not had their contract fullfilled. This is his thread, not mine.

It is quite proper to ask the question "where's Chuck?", however 'stuff' (e.g. life) does happen that sometimes gets in the way of our hobby and the business that we transact as a part of it.

Tim is quite correct, until we can get some kind of definitive answer as to Chuck's whereabouts, we need to hold off on the attempted character assassination.

Please understand, that if it turns out that it can be shown that there is a business problem, then not only can Chuck's posting rights be curtailed, but the vendor listing would be updated accordingly. We have done this before with other vendors and can and will do so again if warranted.

For those with product and/or money involved, please work on getting some good answers for us....for the moment Tim has done as much as is possible from an SC point of view.

To all concerned .The only reason I posted here was to try to get Chuck to contact me . I could not get him by email ,phone ,I.M or by this and other websites he posted the tower on. If I had known about the others in this post I would not have bought the tower, this is a fact. I NEVER said anything against Chuck other than he needs to contact me and clear this up, now with that being said I am done asking for the tower and have written the money off as a lost cause.(FACT) . I am done and will not be posting again.

WOW, I can't believe there is so many blind eyes! Chuck is a thief, period. Who cares about his health. His wife is fine and can mail/handle the prior problems. I know for a fact what is wrong with Chuck and it is "NO" excuse! He needs to be banned! What else is there to say? Oh, wait lets see if he screws someone else over. Is that what the moderators are saying? This crap about handling things with kid gloves is B.S.! It's starting to sound like we need a new position -- master at arms. If so I volenteer to be him!

Seems like all the traffic in this thread should be ample warning for anyone currently contemplating any transaction with Chuck. What more do we need to say at this point?

I/we do not know that he is a thief. The SC's EC does not know either. You stated that Chuck's wife is fine. Can someone talk to her to find out what's going on?

Provide some form of confirmation and of course he'll be removed from the vendors list. As has always been the case, make your case to the EC and the moderator will follow their decision.

Ok it has been almost

Ok it has been almost two months and still no tower.I see someone has talked to Chuck and he promises to return all money and Items he vanished with. But a couple of thing really bother me .This was a item he had in his hands ,not one he had to order or wait on supplies to build .It was sold with the promise to be shipped when the money was recieved,but yet still no parts.This is not a character assassination but the cold hard facts. I would also like to know why he is still on the vendors list when Lee at Scale Ship Yard was removed from the list. I can send Lee my money and at least get the item I purchased as do many other people here. Ok one question if it was your money or your sub would you be so quick to protect then?

You probably feel like you've already done this via this thread, but you need to compile the details of your transaction and submit it to the Executive Committee of the SC. Combine it with the details regarding the problems others have experienced as well if possible. The EC will investigate it and address the issue.

I spoke to Chuck yesterday

I spoke to Chuck yesterday for around 20 minutes. He will continue with my comission, and I offered to channel any concerns SC members may have on either projects outstanding, or parts ordered but not received yet. Please let me know by email thomcmdchief@aol.com and I can get the message to him.

Where is my tower Charles?

It has been 6 months since I sent the money to Charles for this tower. No reply,no tower and no money back from him. Now that tells me what I thought all along . Has anyone gotten their stuff or money back from him like he promised a couple months ago? Has anyone got a contact number for him ? If so please foward it to me . I want what I paid him for or my money back!

As stated at the top of the Vendors page - A listing on the vendor's page is not an endorsement of any particular company by the SubCommittee nor is it a guarantee to their reliability or performance.

Chuck's listing had no address, a disconnected phone number and a request for him to contact me so we could find out what was going on. It looked like at least one guy had been in contact with Chuck and that he was going to make everything right.

Since he has not contacted me, and it now appears there are a several members who still have not received their subs nor a refund, Model Construction has been removed from the vendors' list. It will remain this way until we hear that all outstanding orders from SC members have been filled or refunded to the satisfaction of the members.

Ok this has gone on long enough. If anyone has talked to Charles or can get in touch with him please inform him that If he does not contact me by this Friday I will be filing charges on him and his wife for mail fraud. I have waited long enough.

Since I cant get anyone to give up Chucks address or phone number and Chuck does not want to do the right thing and settle this, I will be turning this over to the law now and pressing charges against him.

The closest anyone is getting to this guy is through his wife's cell phone. The most recent contact was several weeks ago, and it wasn't through me. He stated to me in writing on 17 November, that he would finish my commission on the CR Nautilus, and called me on 27 November and said I would have my boat by Memorial day weekend. I have had no contact since. I'm out over $3000.00 from this guy, so if anyone knows anything, please get back with me.
