not to tempt you but you could build her as a surface boat,
which makes the building a lot less costly.

and of course there is the possibility to make it a dynamic diver.
That too is less expensive than a full static boat.

That would still entail the cost of the radio control unit etc. If I can't go the whole way then I will just go static.

This is a kit begging to have the side cut open and the internals scratchbuilt.
