Speaking of the Seehund, this is an interesting video (about the last third of which is about the Seehund), with some good film footage of it in action:

As you have said, when I went on to Internet Hobbies, they have the Type XXIII listed as if they already have it in stock and stated the price for the Bronco model. I just hope there is no tom foolary going on with the price when they finaly ship my order? As for the Seehund, thankfully I have nice clear water lakes to run my boats in out here in Sacramento . No trash ponds for me. Thanks. Do you have a posting on your RCAB for 72nd Type XXIII? I like to check out how you did it. Dave

I'll have to look up the plans on my old computer. I made them seven years ago.. As I recall, the ballast system was to be a small RCABS-R. With six 900mAh AAA batteries (7.2V), in line, along the bottom of the hull.

              Hello again,

I thought some updated photo of the completed Bronco Seehund modified as a dynamic diver was needed.

This boat was painted as one that operated off of Germany coast between Jan - May 1945, I chose this paint scheme for easy observability due to it's small size of 13 inches.

The boat still needs some trimming and thinkering.

That's a great new word, "thinkering". I suppose it means thinking about tinkering.

Ummm....Dave posted photos of his *Seehund* here in this Type XXIII thread, so I think there's a bit of confusion going one?

my bad, I said Type XXIII in my earlier post, I meant Seehund.
I am working on the Type XXIII.
                        I am confused.

As we speak, not one, but two of the Bronco XXIII kits, are currently in transit to my shipyard facility in AZ. They left Uboot-Fahrer Werft in Geneva, NY on Tuesday. Scheduled to arrive at Arizonia Werft in Phoenix next Tuesday..

I am assembling a small fleet of XXIII boats, as they will supplement my existing 32P XXIII.. In the future, I might even add an OTW XXIII to the growing coastal fleet of killer elektroboots

It will be up to Subculture to defend the English Channel, when my elektro wolf pack reaches its patrol grid..

I got the good news from Internet Hobbies that my ordered Bronco Type XXIII is on it's way. I have seen the instructions on line, the hull comes in quarters and is built into two halfs and joined in the middle. This could make it ideal for rc conversion. I have notice some internal ribbing on the inside of the hull. Was this model originally designed as a possible cut away?

I just recieved my Type XXIII. A very nice kit. Walls are a bit on the thick side for my taste, but the model seems to be pretty well researched. The prop and part of the stern don't look quite right, but I am not done with eyeball review. Definitely worth the money and I expect to see a TON of these at the Regatta's over the next year or so....
