Some pics of a couple u-boat towers I'm working on, U-302 and U-253.

U-302 is waiting for a gloss coat and I can start weathering her.

U-253 is still in progress.

Both have some scratchbuilding and the kits, WEM, Eduard & Modelbrass.

What have you been doing to extend your periscope shears,I like that look and I know it`s rite Also is the one with the yellow stripe a stock c/t.Everything is lookin good Check out Nautilus Models for their newTurm II Wintergarten conversion kit,you`ll like it!

For the sky scope

Hi Mike,

For the sky scope I've been using brass tube.

For the attack scope, I shave off the kit "stands" and wrap a piece of evergreen strip around the base. I then take 1mm thick plastic and wrap that around the evergreen. Putty and sand the seam. Sand the base down til it's the right height. I then add a 1mm disc at the base.

The yellow striped CT is mostly stock with scratch and AM additions. It started as out of box, but I couldn't help my self.

I have seen the Nautilus Turm II. Not bad. Good base to work on.

I wonder what the Revell one will look like.
