[color=#000000]The Glomar Explorer diorama was a joke. In 1]
First I thought it was a joke (I figure it out in a elevator well) but then I thought that you can do something like the Glomar lifting part of the sub and the part getting closer to the moon pool, at the last stages of the "rescue" operation. Well, in that case you wouldn't need a full model or a very accurate one of the Golf. The diorama can have just a foot or less in hight.
The main problem would be to obtain good plans of the Glomar (maybe in 1/700 can be easier, less details, smaller diorama and the like)
