Modifying the USS Andrew Jackson (Revell)

I am preparing to build the 1/200 USS Andrew Jackson from Revell. I would like to use the clear hull section from an old USS Thomas Jefferson kit that is available by auction. I know the subs are of different classes (Lafayette vs Ethan Allen), but would it fit?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Obviously they must have the

Obviously they must have the same scale to begin with.

The lower hull may be the same diameter 33', but - the upper hull has a different configuration. These are two different classes of boat.

But it all depends on how accurate the kits are, so - it may work.

Unfortunatly you will just have to try.
