    Rick,

As I've mentioned to you, I love this, and would really like to eventually have one. Still thinking of molding a larger version? And yes, I'm putting it out there: any chance of selling it as a complete KIT?

      so,

inside the WTC i see a voltage monitor, diving plane servo, receiver, mixer, two speed controls sitting on a plate.

connectors on the stern endcap for the power cables leading to the pumps.

receiver antenna connector, diving plane servo pushrod seal, and battery connectors on bow endcap.

that is where i am confused. there appears to be room below the plate in the WTC for a lipo, but then you have the battery wires on the front endcap.

where do you put the battery?

and finally, what are the dimensions for the WTC? i am guessing 2" x 8"

I believe what you are seeing Tim is a fuse used to power the cylinder on and off.
But I have been wrong before.
        If so great idea Rick.
Kill two birds with one stone.
Add a power switch and fuse at the same time. BD.

Nice work. How do you find the thrust from the pumps on this smaller model?

            Good Day all
Yes Dave is right it is a fuse holder/ switch, on future slightly larger model ( 20 inch as compared too this 16 inch) I will use one of Kevin McLeod magnetic mission switch so a couple of less end cap penetrations.
The pumps I use propel this hull just fine with o head discharge, all the thrust is pretty well straight out the back, I have used these same pumps in 2 different sized flying subs and have great sucess with them.
I even hacked off the pump section which left me with a sealed motor which I have used direct drive on my Merriman Skipjack and a couple of my Seaviews.
The pumps I purchased from Princess Auto and they run aprox $15.00
I have opened up a couple of dead ones and found a motor that is somwhere in the 365-385 rangesame can size but no tell tale markings
On the Skipjack I ran them on 7.4 lipe with tons of throttel and an apm draw of aprox 1.3a/
I steer it differentally but on this model no reverse, on the next one there will be room for reverse thrust with 2 other pumps unless I go with a different propulsion system which I am kicking around in the cranium thinking thing.
I hope a package can be put together for this 20 inch wip but first I have too finish the hull then get the cart behind the horse.

DonO and I purchased some of the pumps to play around with and we are very impressed with the thrust.
Not bad for the price. BD.

                of course....

you realize that i am a brushless bigot, and i will have to spend countless hours creating a brushless pump setup for mine...

                  Rick,

was i close on the WTC dimensions? can you give me an accurate size?

                  thanks

                    Rick,

this wouldn't by chance be your model?

Good day all you sub voyeurs
Yes Tim, it is one of the first tests last fall, its a shame I did not have a steady hand filming with the tablet and driving at the same time but a first on both fronts.
I am only use too drinking and driving ( my sub in the back yard and not on the road... so you kids pay attention, stay in school and stay of drugs)
                      The cylinder is" 7 1/2 "long and" 2 1/2 o.d , 1/8 wall thickness.
