It would connect to the PPM terminal strip on the 75MHz transmitter module and cable to the top of the case.
You could even use the telemetry system with the 2.4GHz transmitter with a 3-position Jeti toggle switch. You could use the telemetry live or download it to your computer later.

You have four pins on the back of a module: +v, ground, PPM in and aerial out. Just wire flyleads into the appropriate pins, keep the wire for the aerial as short as pssoble, and this will usually have a ferrule, crimp or soldered lug at the end to screw into the base of a telecopic antenna.

The hardest part would be the mechanical fixings and adjustments.

Basically if purchasing new, sub modellers entering the hobby have a choice between either modifying kit or going for a Wfly rig, the radio set TT supply with the Neptune and one or two other manufacturers like Corona (Chinese once again) offer pretty decent synth receivers on the older FM bands. Apart from that it's down to secondhand units.

Not to beat the Futaba horse to death, but they have committed to continue production of their 4 channel for quite a while past the end of this year. That comes straight from Don Speilberger of loyalhanna just 2 days ago. He talked to his distributor about it. I got a different story two weeks ago when I was told that this year would most likely mark the end of their 75 Mhz production. I truly hope this is the case and the production will continue.

4-channels is basic for most model subs, if it's a static diver that only gives you one set of planes, throttle and rudder. Really I consider 6-channel a miniumum requirement if you want a set that can cover most bases, and if you can stretch to it an 8-channel rig.

The PPM output female connector is there for using a flight simulator cable.
This is where you interface the 75MHz transmitter module cable.

What kind of connector is represented by the gray circle for the trainer cable? Is it some sort of DIN plug?

I'm guessing that that 4-pin female connector used to plug into the motherboard is the same type used in the Rf modules.

The trainer cable shown plugs into the flight simulator module cable.
I have the Phoenix flight simulator software which came with a cable that has a built-in decoder for use with my Hi-Tec Aurora 9 radio. What is unique about the Jeti DC-16 is that it can wirelessly communicate with another transmitter that has wireless trainer options.

Looks a bit like a Molex connector (DIN plugs have fallen out of use in the main now). Jeti would definately know.

You can use a Jeti plugs and 3-position switch.



This is the same setup in my Graupner MC-19 radio.

That definitely helps. So two of those wires is where one would need to splice in the two wires that would go to the antenna.
