              Hi BD,

I'm going to be careful to stick to the facts here, believe me this is not an attempt at "product pushing". The microgyros microcontroller that Andy mentioned is not the only pitch controller which has programmable end points - My ADF2 also has user-programmable end points. (I remembered your desire to have that from a previous conversation.) We now return you to your regularly scheduled "212 build thread"...

                Kevin,
So you are saying that your adf2 will work on the x tail as well as any other type of servo controlled dive plane system?
Will you be bringing them to Carmel to "test" in our subs??? Yes I know about buying!!!

                  Re: New Engel 212 build.

The ADF2 has servo limits, but is only meant for standard cruciform arrangement tails. At this time I can neither confirm nor deny the existance of an ADX (Angle Driver w/ integrated X-tail mixer)... Let's talk!

                    Very nice Kevin!
                    Someone actually listened to me.
Glad to see that problem is being addressed by the electronics guru's like you my friend.
Some instalations just don't or can't require full movement of the servo and a APC without end points installed in them just does not care.
Frank, any APC will work with a X-tail as long as you use a external mixer after the APC.
That is how my Sushi works.
But having it in an all-in-one package just makes things NICE-NICE!! BD.

                      Dave,
I like the all in one unit. I used the mixing in the radio for my x tail, as you did.

                            hello,

                            I've used tamya
                            Dark sea Grey XF54
                            German Grey XF 63
                            Flat black

                            for the deck :

A mix of Light sea grey XF 25 (80% approx) and Field Blue XF 50. I've progressed on painting stuff, now it looks even better. The paint stuff should be finished this week.
