that is the beauty of this hobby, she is patient and waits for us to work on her.If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.Comment

Yes she is! Although since the plug is literally falling apart, I fear her patience has run out. I wrapped it in foil backed duct tape, and I am currently fiberglassing the hull how.

I am almost finished with the first layer of fiberglassing. I did the front and rear parts of the top half today, and will do the center section tomorrow along with the leading edge of the bow and stern!

More work done today. This big beast takes some time to lay up. I finished the top half of the boat, and now will glass the leading edge of the stern and bow tomorrow and the first layer will be on.
And here is with the tower sitting on top.

And....... I am happy to report the first layer of fiberglass is now on the hull! Finished the bow and stern today.
