When it's finished a distributor will buy it and it will be released direct to DVD.

I'll take a look at the links.

    Thanks!

Hey Steve, I got a second one coming. Its my birthday next month so I bought several models to convert to RC.
I am going to RC a 1/350 Enterprise Aircraft Carrier from Tamiya.
I am also hoping to make a sub from one of the two 1350 Enterprise Star Ships from Polar Lights.
Can you give me the specs on the dimensions of the WTC.
Adam Carlson's WTC, are they available?

It's 1.5 inches and a one off Adam made for me a few years ago.

Sounds like you have some good fun ahead of you. Nice models. Enjoy.

I will get myself a 1.5 inch WTC
          What length is it Steve?
I obviously will measure the kit when it comes...I may have one here today, have to go to the post office to pick up a parcel...hope its one of the Star Ships.

Hope your movie is doing well and the Mrs is better.
thanks for sharing your Seaview, Star Ship and other builds and runs...I love the same ships!
I got my limber holes cleaned out for my Big Dave unit Seaview, can't wait to see her run this spring.
Foofighter, how cool, one of my loves.
PS, Gorillas are my favorite...we would be good buddies.
          Your friend

Dean it about 8 inches maybe a hair over.

You are most welcome Dean. Go do some building.

            Thanks,

Re: 1/350 USS Enterprise RC A sub?

I used blue painters tape and taped the hull and neck and found the neck fits like a glove into the saucer, the holes in the hull will have to be slighly widened to get the neck flush...

But first impression...excellent packing, they have the large parts already together in several bags....LOL...building my kit for me.

Really nice front cover for the box, so I like the artwork.
                The box is a keeper.
The model itself is just Impressive in person!
It just so much larger, then you think.
The model itself is just very massive. Biggest model I ever had.
I think EVERYONE should get one of these, just once in your life.
                WOW. Its just huge!
Only $60, so I got two.

                  Gents,
I am having no success with the Google translator for the Yokosuka site.
Any chance anyone can post a translated link or other?
                  Thanks,
                  Kerry

Re: 1/350 USS Enterprise RC A sub?

I have decided after much self debate to not make this an RC vehicle. Reason? I have just put too much work into the details. I'm now adding the 100s of decals and Aztec shaders. Painted all the different colors. 80 LEDs. After market parts. I have never put s much time into a model like this. If there's a 1-100 chance the water will hurt it, or it will rub up against the edge of the pool it's not worth it for the once a year I may run it and out here who's going to see it. It can only be run at pools. And there's no group that meets once a month out here.

So I will close this thread. If you want to keep up on the progress of the static model go here: www.steveneill.wordpress.com

Sorry guys but this will only get damaged with use and it can't be repaired like a boomer or Gato. If you do build one for RC leave off the Aztec decals, most of the lights and skimp on the paint job. That's what the other guys did. Make it simple for fun. Not a museum piece like I did.

Thanks Steve, you have lit the fire, lets see if I can make it burn.

I have been researching vectored thrust nozzels and maybe this is of value, I hope I can use it on my Star Ship Enterprise Submarine I am working one.

These are larger I believe, but a larger sub would like them.

I agree about the model being a museum piece, so I got two, one for display.

                          Cheers
