    The copper endcaps are hollow

The copper endcaps are hollow with the exception of the pin, gas inlet chamber and smaller Dia copper tube thats used to fit it to the main body. The bottom cups are held in the main tubes by friction. All I did was give the tubes a small smack with a hammer and it indented them enough to hold the tube in place ( an old plumbers trick).

I understand and it could be much worse! People know I am building a sub in my garage, have travelled to Russia many times and have many Russian friends, and a US military friend offered a subminiture guidance system. I came home one day and was greeted by a man from the FBI! Totally unrelated matter and still ......

I may have some material to help you out, we can go over it on Saturday. Can you e-mail me the tube dimensions again (just OD and length)?

                      Another question!
I noticed there is a pressure storage assembly with a schader valve and two small tubes at one end. My guess is that each of the small tubes feeds pressure to each of your two missile launch end cap. If you fired only one missile, would you not completely drain the launch pressure you have stored or is there some method to "pulse" the pressure feed?

The plan is to install a valve in each line so that once I see the missile leave the tube I can secure the launch gas. Only testing will tell me if the chmber i have made is large enough.
