      No not since previous set

No not since previous set backs. I need to find a "safer" alternative for the missile substrate. She will hit the water regardless of operating missiled though.

            you should try to get

you should try to get as many missiles as your transmitter will allow, while not sacrificing moving masts, torpedoes, or any other channels.

                      Re: Submarine Works 1/96 Ohio

It has been far to long since I updated this thread so I am going to slowly bring this back up to speed!

Since I last left off I had done some ballasting and running using the RCAB cylinder I had created for the boat.

                        Kevin,
Those are old photos, right? It doesn't look like the bottom is red in the water shots. Or the brown-ish nose.

Its true Pete these are old but not when compared to the last time I did an update Ill get there dont worry. Just need to get up to speed before I show everything else.

Another project I have been working on for this boat is to re create the superstructure detail underneath the hatches so that when they are open there is something to actually look at.

The first thing I did was make a sanding tool of the exact same radius as the hull.

I then made a piece to be my new understructure and sanded it to the right contour using my new tool.

Man that looks good! How are you going to open all the doors using one servo? Inquiring minds need to know?

Well I was going to use hydraulics but someone didnt take my inquiries very seriously about different pumps and such so I ditched it. I am now thinking some sort of cam system or friction based system. I am open to ideas really. It wont happen until I finish the detail anyway but I did leave a nice big area in my sub for the missile and hatch system. I am still contemplating putting it all on one switch and using a stamp controller to run the whole thing.
