    @ Cosaire and WheelerDealer -

@ Cosaire and WheelerDealer - Are these the 1.5mm hulls or the dry hull 2.5mm versions
Mine is 2.5mm, which is more suited to RC.

      That was it !

      Hi all,

Mine is the 2.5mm version also.

I think I fixed the problem, uffff! , the culprit was on the upper half seams, after midships towards the stern. Pics # 3 & 6 show the troubled area. After sanding both sides down about 1/8" or so, amazingly, both halves started to fall correctly into place. It's this extra "edge" on both sides of the hull that was throwing everything off big time! I sanded down a bit more, as necessary, here and there towards the bow as well.
I removed the the FG "lip" which was on the big top piece and decided to place it now on the small stern top piece instead(I'll do that tonite) so the big one can sit on the lip and align itself up. After that, if any minor flaw, it will be easier to correct, I think.
This perhaps can help others with their Scale Ship's Akula should that flaw arise again.
Thank you all for the feedback and advise. You guys are the best.
Now I can have a little mental peace....
