    1/8 propeller

Does anyone sell a modern nuclear propeller (skewed blades) that can be attached to a 1/8 shaft?

Ships n' Things seem to have what I'm looking for, except the propeller is for 3/16 or M5 shafts.

    As an alternative, is there

As an alternative, is there a way to make an adapter to use a 3/16 propeller on a 1/8 shaft? If the propeller uses a set screw, would it be realistic to use brass or aluminum "sleeves" to widen the diameter of the 1/8 shaft to 3/16?

          No, I just have a

No, I just have a regular 1/8" shaft, but the propeller I want required 3/16" shafts.

So I need a different propeller or a way to widen my 1/8" shaft.

I think you answered your own question. I have done that with brass tubing. I would suggest drilling holes through the brass tubing to line up with the set screw. The screw would then engage the 1/8" shaft directly, and there would be less of a chance for the prop to slip off.

Good deal, thanks for the confirmation and help.

                Also a 1/8 plain shaft

Also a 1/8 plain shaft is close to the id of a M4 threaded prop. You could secure it with a drop of solder.

                  A while back I was

A while back I was looking to do the same thing. When I phoned Ships 'N Things they had an adapter that would allow you to use a 3/16" prop on a 1/8" shaft.

It's been a couple of years now, so my memory may be off, but it might be worth the call or email to Al at Ships 'N Things.
