Hi Andy,
Actually I want them to break in an accident like that. They are made out of a material I got from Tim called Sintra. It is strong but very flexible. You can bend them quite a bit and they will come back to shape. In the case of this crash though they were not bent they were sheered off. I think if they had been stronger it may have broken the hull at the exit point. The flippers, and flukes I can replace. But thanks for the idea. BD.
