Sorry forgot to add this, what is the largest static model alpha that I could get? I want to put more time than money in this thing and I just really don't want to pay 245 bucks for a hull, and what is a dry hull?

Just to show my new brushless motor for the Dolphin boat. This is a FEIGAO 540-S 8 turn motor. I will be using a water cooling jacket as shown in the photo. The motor is good for about 55 AMPS of water churning power!!!! BD.

Does anybody know if you can use a bruskless motor in the wet space within the U-boat hull? I am considering using two brushless motors in my Type VIIc. Originally, I was considering a small Poly tube, but I did not consider heat dissipation. It wood be great if I could use the brushless motors in the wet space. cooling would be an added feature.... Hummm!

Look at Merrimans new micro wtc for the Revell 212/214. It looks like he uses a outrunner that is in a wet condition. It is on the Caswell site.

my experience with wet runners

my experience with wet runners (no experience with brushless) is that
the ball bearings are the weak point. they typically rust.
but cheap motors use bushings and they last.

reversable esc

Check out FMhobbies for brushless esc's that have reverse. I just got a 10amp for $20 and it really works. Putting it into a 1/144 Revell 212 with a outrunner from Lazer toyz in Ohio.
